|Human being has been created by Almighty Allah in a perfect shape of personality. Men and women both are human beings. Apart from a few specific commands in the Shari'ah, no discrimination has been done between men and women. Women have also contributed their role in the discipline of Islamic Studies with the same passion and dedication as the Muslim male scholars served with the attributes, as communicated in Holy Quran: “The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger.” [Al-Quran,Al-Toba :71] Since 7th A.D Muslim women scholars have been playing their role in worth mentioning manners with regard to creation and dissemination of knowledge of various fields. For example, Syeda Aisha Siddiqa (d. 58 AH ),Umme Salma(d. 61 AH) Durra Bint e Saeed Bin Almusaib, Fatima Bint Munzir Bin Zubair Bin Al-Awwam(b. 50 AH), Amra Bint Abdul Rehman(d. 106 AH) Nafeesa Bint Hasan ibn Zaid bin al-Hasan bin Ali bin Abi Talib (d. 208 AH) and Kreema al Marwaziya (d. 463 AH ) and others also are very prominent sacred ladies. If we look over at the list of sheikhs of many famous Muhaddithins, Jurists and Scholars, there are names of female teachers also included. The title of this Ph. D dissertation is: “Women’s Arabic Searah writing in th Century: A research review” It is comprised 5 chapters and 413 pages. The first chapter is dived into 3 parts, including: “Seerah writing and its basics”, “The background of women’s seerah writing” and “The beginning and evolution of women's Seerah writing”. Chapter two presents a comprehensive overview of all the books written by female scholars on complete Seerat Al-Nabi (S.A.W.) in the last century. This chapter consists of four sub chapters. Chapter three consists of seven sub chapters, in which research and critical review of the books written on the specific aspect of Sirat-un- Nabi( صلى الله عليه وسلم) has been discussed in concise and precise manner. Chapter four presents a review of the books written by Arab women about social interaction of prophet Muhammad ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) with his female family members in particular and common Muslim women in general. This chapter also consists of seven more sub chapters. The last and 5th Chapter consists of 10 sub parts and presents a synthesis of research article and dissertations written about Seerat Al-Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم) ) by the female research scholars. Overall this dissertation also describes crux of the finding of the study and recommendation for further studies in the last part of the thesis.
