Abstract: Students are required to be involved actively in their learning process. It is more important for a student to make his/her academics strong, which may be influenced by various factors, among which academic self-efficacy level, as well as academic self concept level of the students play a prior role. The study at hand was designed to investigate the relationship of academic self-efficacy level, academic self-concept level with academic achievement of secondary school students of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The study employed a quantitative research approach; the correlation research design was applied. All the secondary school students of high and higher secondary schools for boys of district Peshawar in the government sector were the target population of the study. A cluster random sampling technique was used for the distribution of the sample size and its allocation. In order to collect data on academic self- efficacy a standardized tool established by Forman and Owen was used and for gathering information regarding academic self-concept a standardized scale developed by Reynolds was used. The academic scores (SSC annual 2019 result of BISE Peshawar) of the students were considered as academic achievement that was correlated with the academic self-efficacy and academic self-concept level of the students. The results of the hypotheses testing shown that there was no significant correlation found of academic self-efficacy level, academic self-concept level with academic achievement of students studying at secondary level in district Peshawar. Similarly, the researcher did not find any significant difference between the academic self-efficacy level and academic self-concept level of students studying at secondary level in urban and rural schools of district Peshawar. This study came up with recommendations for students, teachers, parents, and curriculum designers to solve different self-related problems of the students and to improve their academic self-efficacy, academic self-concept level.
