Abstract: This dissertation declares features of chemical reaction in the presence of stretching sheet in Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional fluid flows are deformed by a linear or nonlinear stretching sheet having constant or variable thickness. Heat transfer is analyzed with heat generation/generation, radiation, thermal stratification with linear and nonlinear under Fourier’s law of heat conduction and modified Fourier’s law (Cattaneo Chistov heat flux model). Entropy generation is also used here to find out the irreversibility of a fluid system. Mass transfer is elaborated with solutal stratification, chemical reaction and variable mass diffusivity by applying Fick’s first law and Fick’s second law and also Cattaneo Christov mass flux model. Convective boundary conditions, Newtonian heating and mixed convection phenomena are also considered. Suitable transformations are used to convert non dimensional and nonlinear partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations. Convergent approximate solutions are obtained through homotopic procedure. Behaviors of prominent and pertinent parameters are illustrated through graphs. Drag force, Nusselt number and Sherwood numbers also investigated through graphs.
