Abstract: An analysis of the characters of fabricated narrators and word of mouth narrations in the History of Tabri in the light of Hadith and the Biography of Men(Asma-ur-rijal) After the Holy Quran Hadith is the second important source of Islamic Law in the true religion of Islam. The certification status and the compulsion of Hadith have been proved by many verses of the Holy Quran. Along with the teachings of the Holy Quran, the Holy Prophet (SAW) was assigned the duty of self-purification and divine Wisdom. According to authentic source, the compilation of Hadiths was started in the era of the Holy Prophet (SAW). After the Holy Prophet (SAW), work was done on the compilation of Hadiths continuously in first, second, third and fourth century hijra. Along with documentation of the Holy Hadith the narrators have developed a very organized and trustworthy knowledge that is called Hadith and the Biography of Men (Asma-ur- Rijal). With the help of this knowledge, every Hadith is scrutinized closely and is named as authentic, dubious/ doubtful and fabricated. On the other hand, the historian did not keep an eye on the scrutiny of history narrators and narration. Therefore their history books are full of many fabricated and false narrations. So is the book of Ibne Jareer Tibree with the name of " Tarikh-ul-Umam Wal Malook" is also included in the basic themes of history. Although Ibne Jareer and his book needs no introduction as they helped both modern and ancient historians. But instead of these characteristics and popularity there are many false and fabricated narrations about the Prophet( SAW), companions of the prophet(SAW), Khala fa-e Rahedin and Ahle Bait in Tabri. Even some Jewish (Israeli narrations) have been included also in Tibree. The main purpose of this thesis is to find out all the fabricated narrations and stories regarding the Prophets (Peace be upon them), Holy Role of, the companions of the Prophet (SAW), the four Khulafa-e- Rashidin and Ahle Bait (the family of the Holy Prophet (SAW) in the light of Hadith and Biographic of Men (Asma-Ur- Rijal), these narrations have been declared to be liars, untruthful, weak, deceitful etc. in which category they fall. So the hatred, enmity, divisions and differences among the Muslims caused by unreliable narrations may be eradicated.
